I'm leaving London, and starting a new life (maybe a little dramatic?!) in Paris at the end of August.

Any French people on the Forum that can give me an idea of what cool is happening music-wise?

I've been working on a club night in London, and I'd love to get something started out in Paris (anyone need a DJ?) so any contacts/pointers would be very useful indeed...

My band we're supposed to be playing a festival just outside of paris, it's from the 14th to the 18th of august.

We had to pull out due to losing our drummer which sucks.
It's called Celebration Days festival if you wanna look it up.

The line up is pretty amazing for it too.

Thanks Luke. Sorry to hear about your drummer.

The festival looks really cool. Reminds me a little of the first Dream Machine festival in Essex a couple of years ago.

I'm definitely going to get in touch with the organisers. Unfortunately, I won't be in France by then, but it looks great.

Here's a link for anyone interested:

don't know if it's somewhere for you to DJ but i found a couple really cool bars last time i was in paris. Pop-in (walked in and they were playing the Pixies) and Zero Zero on Rue Amelot in the 11th Arrondissement. Zero Zero was a proper dive. my friends were boring and went home so i stayed out at ZZ and met rad french people who were all cool and friendly and liked really good music.

Cheers! I'm living in the 11th, so will check those places out.
