Not the best song to play on a single acoustic I guess (then again it would make an interesting song for a late night campfire singalong), but the basic chords to "Dropping Bombs..." go something like this:

This is from a live vid on Youtube.. I think it's in a different key on "Thank God For Mental Illness". I play all chords as power chords starting on the A string and let the E and B strings ring (for example, C#=X46600) for that characteristic jangle.. Though I don't think that's how it's done on the record (or even live.. I think Anton's guitar was tuned to some funky open tuning when I saw them do it)

I forgot to mention that you might need to tune the Low E a little bit flat to get the right sound more than 1/2 a step would be too much.
