Back when I lived in SF it was awesome to go up north. Ukiah, Arcata, etc. were awesome places to get away from the city life. Nice campgrounds up that way as well near Covello. Chico was cool for the beer. Damn, I wish I was there right now.

I think it's funny how you hear people say that they could never live here because everyone is so freaky and liberal. What I love about this state is that there are really all kinds of different thinkers. Some love to hang out on hippie hill and play drums and others drive around fast and on their cell phones making big time money. And if there are those who could never live here, then that means more good beer for me! Cheers!

Anyone thinking that hasn't spent any time with the soldiers from the base at 29 Palms or other bases in the state. Good guys mostly -- love the metal music and rap -- but liberal -- not very. Lived here all my life -- still love going to the River and LA's always good for a hoot. For solitude -- well, I can't tell you now, can I?
