I like all of them, but I voted for Someplace else Unknown because I have live versions of it which really fucking blow me away.

Otherwise I would have voted for "Ode to space Hasstle" (GOD I love that video). Bruttermania, One and Run Run Run are close behind.

I can't honestly say that any knock my socks off. I suppose "Let's Go Fucking Mental" is my favorite because of the title and because it at least almost sounds like it could be The Brian Jonestown Massacre at times.

it's actually a good question and maybe not that simple. okay, we all know anton is the songwriter. but he's had a pretty consistent stable of musicians in recent years and out on tour (and i don't mean will c.). they certainly contribute to that jonestown sound -- now he's holed up in iceland or germany without any of those guys, making this music. so is it anton music -- or jonestown music? i humbly suggest there is a difference.

sure, fair enough... I guess it's kind of an unprecedented stage in Anton's career, but then again, how many of his "consistent stable of musicians" worked on My Bloody Underground (I don't actually know who all was involved)?

Anton has worked with soooo many people over the years while producing BJM albums... It just never occurred to me that they would be considered "Anton Newcombe" songs or whatever instead of BJM. IIRC they've all been labeled as being by "brian jonestown massacre" when they showed up on youtube.

it seem that " this is the one thing we did not want to have happen" was left off the list. not sure why that is, it is just as fine as the rest, despite or in spite of the Joy Division referenced beat. It is incredibly catchy and I would have voted for that one had it been on. second choice was someplace else unknown. hard to get that out of my head once it's in!

damn this has been driving me nuts..well this is the first of you last warning(icelandic..nice female vocs) gets my vote..lets go fuckng mental was running close coz sumtimes yerjustwannagofuckinmental..are these jonestown or anton? good question..but irrevelant as when they play live with usual suspects..yer get the kickass live songs youve come to expect..very few of these songs will feature..let's look forward to who killed sargeant pepp
