spent the afternoon at the festival of psychedelia, which in all reality was more shoegazer/space rock.. but never-the-less a very enjoyable affair, watching bands in town, in the afternoon, is something i ain't done in years! anyways...about 6 i got off to dj for my ol' mate's bday bash and returned after midnight to find a well messy crowd. highlight of getting back was will sargent dropping silver machine and the crazy dancing that ensued.. possibly the most psychedelic moment of the night.. then onto the time and space machine finishing off affairs in the main room.. the t&sm we're great but to be honest i'de of rather seen them at their own gig in a smaller venue, with a proper soundcheck but hey we can't have it all! all in all a thoroughly boss day

lowpoint of the gig was missing the dead skeletons... well that's me being double booked for ya!

i did hear they were mega, so im looking forward to any youtubes that appear from their brief stint in the uk

here's to next years festival which i hear is going to be for 2 days this time!

Was a great day. We got there about 6 so missed one or two bands I wanted to see (The See See, Lucid Dream etc).

Couldn't believe how packed it was. 700 tickets sold and another couple of hundred paying on door apparently. I was only expecting 2/300.

Great venue, good atmosphere and good tunes.

The Dead Skeletons were really good, never really heard 'em before and i never knew Will Carruthers played bass for them. I chewed his ear off later!

Really liked Plank. Mate of mine was dancing on stage with them with Pigs head on!! Whopper.

Wasn't too sure about the T&SM, we staggered off during them.

Was walking down Bold street on the afternoon and thought i could see Ricky Tomlinson slothing up the road, turned out to be Will Sergeant on his way to psych fest!

Quite enjoyed Bernie Connors dj-ing as well.

2 days next year. hurray!
