It's not really charm, it's just the power to spark. Modern Love, I'll never wave Bye Bye. Bowie, I try.
Well, the funny story about me, David Bowie, and Modern Love is the week after I recorded two versions of the song, David Bowie in an interview regarding some linear notes said something about two Modern Loves.
This was on Stereogum:
"How strange David would make that comment about two Modern Loves. I am a writer and singer, and last week I recorded two versions of Modern Love. I did the great Bowie version as well as the version by The Last Town Chorus. Genius.

You know, what are the odds that I record two versions of Modern Love and then Bowie mentions two versions of a song, and it just so happens to be Modern Love? The same week. He was doing it in praise of another song, Teenage Wildlife, it's still funny though.
