Read it a while back and thoroughly enjoyed it. yessir, it was me. i'm glad you liked it. perez-reverte is one of my all time faves. lawrence is like virginia woolf to me. either you love the prose or just find the subject matter boring. i'm obviously of the latter camp. not knocking his writing, but just not my cup of tea. right now reading this (inspired by blood's post about pop 1280). gripping and a quick read.

Yeah man it's great! Quite fucked up though. There's something about Kafka's writing style that I find incredibly sinister though. Like it all seems so disjointed, if that makes any sense. I quite often think about what it would be like to meet him, I mean imagine having a cup of tea and talking about football with THAT guy.

Thats the only one of his that I've read, to be honest. But, yeah, meeting him woulda been awsome!! Might swap the cup of tea for a large G and T though!
