I don't know of a UK release - there's a listing on Amazon.co.uk but no order or pre-order function as yet, though you can order it from Amazon.com (if you can play Region 1 discs).

I'm heading over to some shows at the end of the week, if you want me to check out their merch stand.

The director, Mike Bruce, just posted a bulletin on Myspace about it today:

I put together over an hour of extra features and our distributor has manufactured a DVD with the coolest menus I have ever seen.

Here is one way to purchase it if you can't find it in stores yet:

Wait... extra features? I'm going to end up buying another copy, aren't I. (That said, I didn't pay for the first one, so I suppose it's only fair).

Yo. Do you think I'll be able to play that on my 2-year old UK laptop with pretty basic spec? It does have a DVD player that works with DVDs bought in the UK but I have no idea about US stuff. I rarely watch TV, never mind DVDs, but this definitely appeals seeing as it won't be coming out at the local cinema (well I guess one can hope it will..).

Had a good chat with Mike Bruce regarding a UK release but there isn't anything planned for the near future however we are working hard at bringing you region 2s.
Should be available very soon.

Dude, it has not even been screened here in the US (unless the band are behind/involved in its screening)....so I believe buying on dvd is your best option if you want to see it.

Another bit of good news from their MySpace - the new album, "The West" is coming out on November 11th, (on the Dandy Warhols' label).

Lost - the copies I got at the shows last year were just probably weren't Region coded, so if you get one of those, it should play.
Not sure about the "proper" ones with the extras though - your best hope could well rely on Flo Motions's plans.

Okay... they have the souped up official release on the merch stand. Yeah!

So Boozee you are in luck! As long as they still have copies when they get to Memphis (I'm skint today cos I haven't been paid yet this month). (Anyone else who wants one and is confident that I'll trust them to pay me back, let me know asap).

Oh yeah, and they were fantastic tonight. If i see them play a headline gig, the sets always seem to get cut short. See them play a bar third on the bill and you get a full set. The Lord really does move in mysterious ways.

I'm back with copies of the dvd for the people who asked in time.

The Memphis and Chattanooga shows were great though almost empty! The lack of an audience in Chattanooga was probably down to the fact there was torrential rain pretty much all day and night. But that didn't stop Spindrift putting in a 100% effort both nights.

It was a brilliant trip all round. I have Elvis head pez dispensers from Graceland to prove it!
