The killer was none other than John Lennon. He had disguised himself as a "hippie" for years, convincing the public and press of his peacenik ways (when he was then, and always will be, a true MOD) and gained the confidence of Mr. Pepper. When the night was quite and all of Sgt. Peppers "groovy" army was silently asleep, John creeped into the Sgt's sleeping quarters/tent and slipped a tablet of poison into the Sgt's canteen.

I might add, that The Beatles were about to shed their "hippie" disguises and make a HUGE return to their MODness with a NEW album when John Lennon was "assassinated".

It seems that Lennon and McCartney had watched Elvis make his return and were inspired to do the same thing, that is, shed their "hippie" personas and emerge as a Mod group once again. They planned to do something to hippie music akin to Alice Cooper's pronouncement that Heavy/Hair Metal "should be destroyed" in the mid 1980s.

Well, the people at The Rainbow Gathering Corporation learned of this somehow, and invented a "public assassination" of Lennon BEFORE this could happen using actors and manipulating the media. They weren't about to let everything they had worked for be "destroyed" by the Beatles.
Just look at the name of the "assassin": Mark David Chapman
ark avid hipman (like a MOD who's been edited to appear to be assassinated on an AVID system by ark = rain).
You can even SPELL "rain" using his name as well as MK (Mind Control), DAV (Disabled Veterans), as well as more....

Anyway, it was TERRIBLE blow to the world to have that happen. John and Paul had been correct in guessing that the 1980s would see a rise of corporate conformity that would make the 1950s look like a mere "warm up". They were just the group to take a bashing to that trashing.

Had they been allowed to make (or shall I say "publish") that album, it would have made David Bowie and the still forming the Smiths look like petty amatuers...it was THAT mod.

Anyhoo, I can't name my sources for this story, or even prove it as it goes so deep that we'd need the US President and Queen of England to sort it all out. Let's just say I bought a BSA record player off this Cad while I was in Portland Oregon in the late 1990s.

Dude, that was one AWESOME record player.

I must admit that my main motivation for starting this thread was to hint at the possibility that Paul was killed in '66, but Lennon's faked assassination is something I've not considered. Sure would be an interesting twist if so.

Some say that if you ever get to listen to that unreleased Album, you will become the BIGGEST MOD on the planet. You'll be transported to 102,000 years ago, a time of television and MODs hating television.

It's rumoured that Iaan S.evendust (surely the BJM's truest enemy) of the Make-Up heard this album shortly before forming the Make-Up...and look what happened!

Think about it, how did he go from Nation of Ulysess to being the ULTIMATE MOD in that amount of time? He heard the album, that's what. Me and my crew will hear that album one of these days, then you watch!
